JSONREPO V1.0.0a8 Release

Oh man we're so excited for this release - our second biggest release to date. The internal change long is over 100 lines long and we can't wait to share with you what's in store for the future of our platform. But before we do that, let us talk about some of the major highlights:

New design

We've redesigned the dashboard portal to make some room for the additional data, graphs and charts that we'll keep adding on to our platform. The new design is by no means finalized but it should not hinder us moving forward from adding new features based on your feedback.

Google Autocomplete

We're all familiar with Google Auto complete. It is that tiny dropdown box that shows up when you start typing a query into Google's search box. The autocomplete box is populated by the most trending search queries from other users. By leveraging its output and matching it with search data, you can get an incredible amount of information as to what people are searching for why. Here is an example of autocomplete for the word json:

Website Change Log

• Added /app/dashboard page for platform information summary (activity logs)
• Merged settings into dashboard
• Cleanup some URLs and icons
• Removed blog post ideas, domain name generator, and brand name generator from the dashboard area as these will be re-released in the next version as free tools available for everyone to use free of charge.

API Change Log

• All keyword objects now return volume_score and ad_score as computed values between 1-5 that represent how good the volume or ad cost is relative to adjacent keyword opportunities.
• All keyword objects now return last_updated and id to reflect the internal id of each keyword and the last time our crawler updated its value.
• Fixed a minor bug that caused errors when looking up a large number of keywords in bulk.

Autocomplete

• Added Google Autocomplete endpoint combined with search volume data lookup.

Keyword Checker

• Now accepts 200 keywords per request (down from 300)

Keyword Merge

• List size limit reduced to 5 from the previous 20 due to potential abuse cases
• Prefilled list cut down to match the 5 limit
• Returns Google search data by default now

Keyword Finder

• Removed "deep / related to"
• Renamed "flex / adjacent to" as LSI for clarity
• Returns Google search data by default now

Keyword Extractor

• Returns Google search data by default now

Search Questions

• Better question finding algo implemented
• Returns Google search data by default now

Blog Post Ideas

• Response format unification

Brand Generator & Domain Generator

• Response format unification and improved documentation

Upcoming Release

For v1.0.0a9, we're planning on releasing a set of free tools for everyone to use while also adding more content and integrations based on your feedback.

The release schedule for december is going to be somewhat slow due to the upcoming christmas break but rest assured that we will keep publishing new improvements as soon as they are ready!
