We have compiled a list of 600+ Websites and directories for you to submit your app, saas or product to. The list is constantly changing and getting updated so please keep that in mind. Directory submission is easy; simply click on the link to the desired directory and submit your product there.

Directory Submission Strategies & Tips

While it may seem rather obvious, creating a proper strategy campaign can have a huge effect on the outcome of your listings. When you submit to a directory, the listing is most often vetted by curators that will accept or reject it. For that reason it is recommended that you:

• Create a proper marketing copy ahead of time that you can customize and copy/paste
• Use proper images and product icons
• Tailor the messaging to the directory's audience
• Showcase how the product provides value compared to other listings on the site

All of the above may seem rather obvious but it's crucial that you sit down and figure all this stuff out before you start posting. Additionally, some directories allow for instant listing while others may take between a few weeks to a few months to add your product to their database.

When you submit to a directory make sure to also consider how you're going to market your submission. This is especially important on launchpads like Product Hunt. Reason is that not only do these directories provide traffic and backlinks, but they also get constantly crawled by other 3rd party sites. The more attention your product gets the higher it will rank on the launchpad sites and that increases its likelihood for it to get scraped/crawled.
